Making Income-Qualified Programs Inclusive and Impactful
Weatherization for income-qualified customers can be classified as “walk-aways” because of unsafe housing conditions — leaving these customers unserved.
In a move to make income-qualified programs more inclusive and impactful, in 2020 SEEL managed $2.4M in funding specifically to overcome health and safety and unexpected challenges with homes.
As a result, all eligible families were able to receive complete services.
