SEEL performs in-house weatherization including, insulation, duct sealing, and light health and safety home repairs. This strategic advantage creates an opportunity for programs to scale up seamlessly and reduces customer cycle time through the expanded support of our trade ally network.
Making Income Qualified Inclusive and Impactful
Weatherization for income-qualified customers can be classified as “walk-aways” because of unsafe housing conditions – leaving these customers unserved. In a move to make income-qualified programs more inclusive and impactful, in 2020, SEEL managed $2.4M in funding specifically to overcome health and safety and unexpected challenges with homes. As a result, all eligible families were able to receive complete services.
