The pandemic exacerbated community challenges, and novel issues emerged.  To remain responsive, SEEL continued its participation and donation to our annual organizations and events but found it necessary to add additional initiatives because of the increased need.  Namely, SEEL donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to other organizations.  These donations allowed community-based organizations to continue to operate safely.

To further support community action agencies and non-profit organizations, SEEL hosted the inaugural partner appreciation awards honoring more than 30 organizations.  SEEL created this event to recognize the contributions of those organizations that help those in need.

SEEL continued to support the community, including the donations of holiday turkey giveaways to a local church, providing college scholarships and funds to be used for utility bill assistance.
