Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, systems thinking, and data-informed decision-making, with a focus on building trust, fostering authentic community partnerships, and creating sustainable institutional change.

In addition to her executive leadership, Alicia serves on the Board of iQ credit union and is recognized for her expertise in governance, stakeholder engagement, PROSCI-certified Change Practitioner and equitable policy development. Patrice McFarlin
 Principal
 Encolor

“I’ve spent many years on the front lines of implementing clean energy programs, witnessing firsthand how even well-intended efforts can inadvertently leave certain groups behind. As we face monumental shifts in requirements—from federal mandates to private and public company standards—now is the time for us to advocate for those who may not even realize that clean energy decisions affect their lives.

I joined Encolor because I believe in its commitment to move the needle forward on equity. I am dedicated to creating systems that are intentionally inclusive, ensuring we take a broader, more holistic approach in how we fund, legislate, regulate, implement, and evaluate sustainability efforts. With the Encolor team, I aim to continually enhance best practices, adapt to evolving community needs, and set new standards in the industry. Together, we will reshape how we design and execute clean energy programs, making sure their benefits reach everyone, not just a select few.

Having explored the industry in-depth, both horizontally and vertically, I have realized that valuing diverse lived experiences is essential to driving real change. I am passionate about developing replicable solutions and models that address the unique challenges faced by underrepresented groups. Our efforts will pave the way for a realized equitable and inclusive future in clean energy.”
